To promote amazon products (as a referral), we can use various ways, one of them is to use an affiliation link to amazon using pictures.

The intial step is to have the ASIN /ISBN 10 -for books code of the product you would like to promote. the IDAMAZON of your referral account, and lastly the URL of the picture you want (from the amazon website).

If you are confused in getting the URL, here is how to do it. Open your firefox browser. (What!!!?? you dont have a Firefox browser?? Geez

Ok now you have your firefox browser. Right click on the picture (on the product page). Choose copy image location.

When you paste it it will show a long url.. for example like this http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41B7DE9MK1L._AA280_.jpg. what you have to do is to delete the characters between the dots so it becomes like this: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41B7DE9MK1L.jpg (Now save that URL). (This will make a larger picture).

After that you have to use this code to make the link:

<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ASIN/?tag=IDAMAZON“><img alt=”" src=”PICTURE URL” /></a>

Fill in the details for the ASIN ID AMAZON and the Picture URL with your own codes. Remember to do all this in html/code mode!
For example i want to make a picture link for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7).

Then the result should be like this.
