When my students comments on my blog
Blogging needs courage. Courage itself has to be based on self esteem and knowledge also. Anyway, I took my self to a higher level when I promoted my blog about Indonesian aquaculture to my students.
Most of my students are unaware with the presence of my blog (therefore this is a kind of marketing campaign to socialize my blog). Most of my traffic before is from search engine and this marketing campaign had a positive effect. (P.S. I put my lecture presentation there also),
My action really had an effect, where most of my students positively responded to the presence of my blog. I positioned my self open to critics so when my student criticize me (for example my sound is too soft when teaching).. I am really happy.
I wonder if my actions is right, but that what a lecturer supposed to be. Friendly and open to all the students.

I think that you have done right thing by notifying your students that you maintain an aquaculture blog. Enriching your blog with class materials is good too.
