how to search keyword position on search engines

Written by Roffi on May 7th, 2008

Hi readers,

If you are just interested in SEO (like me  ), I will be sure that you will try to search how your website compare to other websites on a specific keyword that you would like to know.

To find your preferred keyword and your website position on search engines is pretty easy. You don’t have to pay others to do this and just follow this step.

1. Find a keyword that you would like to search

2. Use a free online research tool such as provided by seochat.com (here) but actually there are many more websites you can use. (try a google search like this).

3. enter your keyword and your website URL

4. thats it!

Readers, although this seems like a simple SEO tip, but someday you will have competition on your keyword and this should worry you (if you care for getting more traffic from search engines). Psychologically, people entering search engines will click keyword search results on the first pages and this is what you want. Be the website to be clicked!

Okay then. I hope you don’t get bored by my explanation.

Cheers!
