Indonesian Pay Per Click Programs
Hallo readers,
I am a blogger from Indonesia and sometimes its not so easy to blog in English because it is not our main language. Therefore I also own several blogs in Indonesian language to share my ideas. At the same time with owning those blogs, there is an urge to monetize my blogs using PPC (Pay Per Click Programs) but somehow not so much programs offered for Indonesians.
As we know Google Adsense is totally not allowed for Indonesian language content and only allow the search bar (but strangely lot of Indonesian publishers doesn’t care about Google’s rule and get monthly paid a reasonable earning). Well, in these recent months, there is good news for bloggers/webmasters in Indonesia because there is a growing trend of local PPC advertising companies, which could be used by local bloggers (blogging in the national language of course…) to earn extra money. The most popular among Indonesian bloggers are kumpulblogger.com, kliksaya.com, PPC - Indo and Indofad.
The growth of local online advertising companies has its good side and bad side. The good side is, people are more aware of advertising options and this could be a huge market for people who are doing business in Indonesia. With such a cheap price compared to international advertising agents and in exchange for maximum exposure through bloggers via the advertising agents, I think investing in online advertising in Indonesia is really a sweet spot to get ahead of your business competitors.
Talking about the bad side of these agents, all of them pay publishers (bloggers) with such a small amount of money. I believe this is caused by several reasons. One of them is the lack of quality advertisers. These agents should really make a move on their offline campaign to market their service to various companies. Another bad side is the customization of ads (not all of the agents), lack of banner ads and also ads don’t even match the content of your website. These are just some negative points, but overall I forgive them because I really like the fact, that they are pioneering these kind of services.
In conclusion, the online advertising business is going to be huge and hopefully reaching a wider market. If then Indonesian people use these kind of online advertising campaigns, then people really should think about blog monetization.

Yeah I’m glad to see internet marketing is getting bigger and I hope that AdWords becomes more accesable to other languages. Good Luck.

I am happy too to see there’s a growing number of ad aggregators here in Indonesia. My guess is that sooner or later Google will open up its adsense for content in Bahasa Indonesia. Google still has small number of local advertisers but there are too many aspiring publishers (which, alas, most are of low quality). There’s such imbalance because adwords/adsense awareness among potential ad buyers is much lower than that of publishers/bloggers. Google and other PPC providers should be more proactive in promoting their service to business owners.
As with the local PPC solutions, such as KumpulBlogger and KlikSaya, my take is they won’t get a chance to challenge Google if the latter finally decides to beef up its presence here. Google’s might is simply too big. But, they can always flip their business to Google, providing they have enough network of publishers/ad buyers for Google to speed up market acquisition.

Hendro, i really agree with your opinion and Google really should realize that Indonesia has a potential market for advertising.
Seems that these local companies will find hard competition when Google comes in! I appreciate your comment on my blog and once again thanks for visiting!
