After getting a page rank slam, this blog remains in the zero. Google dear, my blog is no longer affiliated with paid to review, and you should see that my contents are reachable in search engines so why could you not give my page rank back? It’s not that I need it, but it makes the Google pageranking system seems unfair.

A second look on Kawasaki Athlete

There is already plenty Kawasaki Athletes on Bandung streets and I became used to the view of them. Actually the high expectation fade when I saw the product from close view.

Sorry to say but overall this bike looks strange with a peculiar front headlamp and look uncomfortable to ride on.

I prefer riding my Supra X PGM FI instead.

Pirated software still flourish in Indonesia

Talking about software piracy in Indonesia to an Indonesian, probably you will have and endless debate on why piracy still exist and why the government of Indonesia is not taking major steps in solving the problem.

Finding whatever software or newest pc game in Indonesia, is very easy. It is even sold in huge shopping malls with a price around 3-4 US Dollars. You could buy the newest Photoshop suite, SPSS or Vista Software, even if its just newly launched.

I think software piracy itself is becoming a culture of Indonesians. A lot of people couldn’t afford to buy an original copy so they just go to the nearest shopping mall and buy the pirated copy without any bad feelings.

I think the most appropriate thing to do is to provide original copies for Indonesia with a different price tag, rather than prohibiting pirated software and doing a raze. Prohibition will only stop the criminals activity for a short while and when government and police are unaware, the pirates will start to produce again their activity.

Currently, nobody is successful in stopping this crime in Indonesia while everybody is enjoying the benefits of these software.

Hi All,

These days, I am learning Joomla with one goal, to create a business directory website for Indonesia market. Well, before I made the business directory website I searched Google for a Joomla extension for this purpose and I found a component called SOBI2 from Sigsiu.net.

After I setup my domain (promosiproduk.com) with Joomla then I started to install SOBI2. It took me quite a while to figure everything out, but now I’m settled and nearly finished.

I think if you want to make a business directory, you could easily do it with Joomla.

Will US Economy Affect Google’s Adsense?

As we all know, Google is the most outstanding online business right now and leads in the online advertising business niche. The source of Google’s revenue is from advertisers who use their miraculous advertising system. All the growth of Google seems to be glorious but with the recent trend of US economy which is currently depressing, it seems that a lot of people will be wondering whether the king of the online company will survive. Well the fact is the US economy does have an impact to Google’s earning.. Here is the quote from CTV.ca

Google Inc.’s earnings growth bogged down more than investors anticipated during the second quarter, raising worries that the ailing U.S. economy is starting to sap the Internet search leader. Although Google’s management maintains the company will thrive even if the economy weakens further, the results released Thursday caused Google shares to plunge more than seven per cent. Investors were largely reacting to indications that Google is fretting about the economic climate for the first time since it went public nearly four years ago.The red flags included a dramatic slowdown in the company’s hiring pace and Google chairman Eric Schmidt’s description of the economy as “challenging.” Google’s chief economist, Hal Varian, even participated in the company’s conference call for the first time to discuss business conditions.

Well, online business publishers should all be aware that the indication of US economy will obviously change the online buying pattern, and who knows when this will end. This means that Google Adsense should be affected, although Google is an international search engine, still the market of the US remains a lucrative market that should be kept an eye on.

Well, I’m just interested in discussing these things recently, because I don’t feel so much energy in being a Google Adsense publisher anymore, that goes for being an amazon affiliate.

If Google Adsense Supports Indonesian Language

What if Google Adsense supports Indonesian Language? Well first of all, a bunch of local PPC will certainly lose their job, as publishers throughout Indonesia have been too long waiting for Adsense that support Indonesian language, and if so Google Adsense allows Indonesian Language, there will be a massive exodus from local PPC of publishers and also advertisers. In short, Google just need to decide and it will be a fatal blow to local PPC.

Local PPC are just heroes right now to online publishers and also advertisers because they get more and more trust from their users but only with a lack, a very low paying fee for publishers but on the other side its very cheap anyways to advertise in Indonesian local websites through PPC’s.

What is the positive side of having Indonesian language support in Adsense? I don’t know if Google realize it or not, but the growth of online advertising in Indonesia in the recent years has been outstanding, as more and more people advertise online. Don’t forget, the tremendous growth of internet users in Indonesia which is now predicted to be around 15 million users and still predicted to grow because the population of Indonesia is around 220 million people.

I am just guessing why should Google Adsense delay its approval to Indonesian language, probably Google is still stalking the potential of online advertisement in Indonesia and quickly release the support when they feel its time, probably Google doesn’t care anyway about online advertisements in Indonesia because of the low value of the Rupiah towards US dollar. Probably they won’t even try to open support to Indonesian language (except the search bar), because they don’t even care about Indonesia
